Thirteen businesses were named across the five answers, and five of them appeared only once. Those are the seats that move between answers. And a seat that moves is one a business can still take.
One note on the counting: the run names “Langer Electric” in one answer and “Langer Electric Service Co.” in two others. We have treated those as one business. The answers above are left exactly as they were recorded.
Two businesses appeared in all five answers: Mister Sparky of West Palm Beach and Grizzly Electric.
What the answers cited
Yelp, Thumbtack and the Better Business Bureau, and two pages written by electricians themselves, each one a “best electrician in West Palm Beach” article on their own website.
That last part is the whole mechanic. The businesses being recommended are the ones with clear pages of their own and outside sources that mention them.
An independent check, the same day
Separately, on the same day, we asked ChatGPT “best electricians in West Palm Beach” and got Global Power & AC, Mister Sparky, Lighthouse Energy and Gator Electric. Three of those four also appeared in our run, different questions, a different tool, overlapping results.
What we did not record, and will not pretend we did
We kept the answers but not the full raw export. Specifically:
- We recorded six businesses per answer, not every business named. An earlier summary of this run said twenty-one businesses were named in total. We can no longer reproduce that figure from what we kept, so we are not repeating it.
- We did not record the underlying model version behind the answer tool.
- We did not record whether personalisation was disabled, and we did not capture screenshots.
Every run we publish from now on records all of it.
How to read this
This was one run, on one day, through one tool. Answers vary by question, by platform, by location and by time. A result that names your business today may not tomorrow, and the reverse is just as true. That is why the report we produce for you is dated and records the specific tests performed rather than offering a score.
